Hardened acrylic foam (polymethacrylimide) with excellent mechanical properties.

This is a structural foam that you can choose for the automotive industry, watercraft, and other industrial applications. In the medical technology market, ROHACELL® IG-F is a common material for tabletop X-ray and CT tables. The foam has a fine cell structure and its surface has minimal resin absorption. Lower resin consumption during part processing means lower final part weight and reduced overall costs.

ROHACELL® IG-F is suitable for processing with prepregs, but it is also ideal for use in resin infusion and RTM processes up to temperatures of 130 °C and pressures of 0.3 MPa.

It allows X-ray beams to pass through. Resistant to certain types of chemicals. Board size 2500x1250 mm. Bulk density 51 kg/m2.
