AIREX® C70 is a polymer foam with closed cells that combines excellent strength and a favorable strength-to-weight ratio with high stiffness. THE DIMENSIONS OF THE BOARD MAY VARY IN INDIVIDUAL BATCHES, AND IT IS ALWAYS SOLD IN FULL BOARDS OF ORIGINAL DIMENSIONS. It does not crumble, contains no freons, has negligible water absorption, and exhibits excellent chemical resistance. The fine cellular structure provides an excellent surface for bonding. It is compatible with most resins and common processing methods. AIREX® C70 is ideal as a core material for a wide range of sandwich constructions subjected to both static and dynamic loads. Due to its unique lightness (property-to-density ratio), C70 is a suitable choice for applications where low weight is a priority.
