AIREX® C70 is a polymer foam with closed cells that combines excellent strength and a favorable strength-to-weight ratio with high stiffness. It does not crumble, contains no freons, has negligible water absorption, and exhibits excellent chemical resistance. The fine cellular structure provides an outstanding surface for bonding. It is compatible with most resins and common processing methods. AIREX® C70 is ideal as a core material for a wide range of sandwich constructions subjected to both static and dynamic loads. Due to its unique lightness (property-to-density ratio), C70 is a suitable choice for applications where low weight is a priority.
