Separation Base Wax
Highly effective base wax for substrates that are not easily wettable, such as laminate molds, silicone, and some metals. When used with GRP molds, the base wax improves the wettability of the surface. The separator itself can then be more easily evenly distributed, creating a flawless, glossy release layer. Usable at temperatures up to approximately 100°C. Also suitable under PVA separator. After application, polish immediately with a cotton cloth.
Using a clean flannel cloth, apply a layer of release paste to the surface and begin polishing immediately. To achieve complete polishing, you must use another clean cloth. Do not allow the applied paste to dry completely on the surface of the mold, as it will be very difficult to polish.
For new molds, apply 3-6 layers of release paste on a clean, dry, degreased surface. It is recommended to use a PVA separator simultaneously. The wax film on new molds can also be cured at elevated temperatures. For already used molds, it is sufficient to renew the wax layer after approximately three releases.
The possibility of creating a matte surface, if not polished after even application, gives the product a matte finish.
Available in packaging of 1 or 4 kg.
