HAVEL filler E1, component A
Two-component filler for basic filling of epoxy laminates, wood, and most metals. The advantage of this filler is its ability to auto-penetrate the material being filled. In practice, this means that if the substrate requires it, part of the epoxy resin is released immediately after application, which penetrates the substrate and allows the filler to adhere much better. The filler can be easily applied to most substrates, has low shrinkage even with larger applications, and sands well. For curing, use hardener HAVELfiller E1/B in a ratio of 100:35 (by weight). The working time is 20-30 minutes. When using component B1, the working time is 1-2 hours. Component A of the filler may crystallize (harden in the packaging) due to the high-quality epoxy resin used. This crystallization must be removed before use by heating to 50-60°C in a water bath or with air. After heating, crystallization does not affect the quality of the filler.
