In 2020, the REACH regulation was amended (item 74 of Annex XVII to the REACH regulation, (EU) 2020/1149), and a REACH restriction concerning diisocyanates was published. The restriction includes mandatory training requirements for industrial and professional users of diisocyanates in the EU starting from August 24, 2023. The regulation applies to all products containing 0.1% or more free diisocyanates.

Havel Composites is committed to the safe use of diisocyanates and workplace safety. To this end, a digital training platform has been created where individuals using and/or handling diisocyanates can register and complete the appropriate training as described in the restriction.
