The fabric is made from 1K fibers without protective twist. Therefore, the fibers are flatter than those of similar cheaper fabrics of this weight. Since the fabric is made from fibers without protective twist, it must be woven very slowly to avoid damaging individual carbon fiber filaments. This woven fabric is up to 20% thinner than fabric woven from fibers with protective twist, allowing it to better fill the gaps between individual fibers of the fabric. To saturate this fabric, you will use significantly less resin, and due to the flatter fibers, almost no air bubbles are formed in the first or subsequent layers of your products.
