Foaming SYSTEM 5 for hockey stick repair, component A
General: Component A is an epoxy resin modified with special black fillers, characterized by higher viscosity. It is suitable for foaming. Component B is a hardener, a mixture of technical polyalkylene polyamines, primarily containing diethylenetriamine, suitable for the foaming system. Component C is the foaming agent. Application: First, mix component A and component C in a ratio of 100 g to 3 g. The system must be mixed intensively for 1-2 minutes to ensure perfect dispersion of component C in component A. Then, component B can be added, in an amount of 6 g. The mixing ratio is: component A : component C : component B = 100 : 3 : 6. After curing with the hardener, the system provides a good hard foam with excellent mechanical properties, good chemical resistance, and good thermal properties, remaining stable at 50°C. It is recommended to temper at 50°C for 3 hours. It can be easily processed and sanded. A density of 200 kg/m3 is achieved. The foaming agent C can be dosed in the range of 1-5%. The foam will cure in 1-2 hours. The working time (so-called pot life) is approximately 15-30 minutes. Use: Creation of hard foam. It is recommended to prepare amounts up to 200 grams.
