High-quality, medium-viscosity low-molecular resin for laminating parts with high resistance (up to 160°C). It must be cured at 90°C for a minimum of 3 hours. It is mixed with hardener H 300 (10:25) for thermal resistance up to 120°C or with hardener H 512 (fully replaces the previously used H 303 HT) to achieve thermal resistance up to 150°C (100:25). For mold production, we recommend hardener H 287 Havel (previously in TL as HG 90 HT) (100:40), with a mold thermal resistance of approximately 150°C. This resin has been tested and used in the production of molds and parts for the brake cooling system on Škoda Fabia WRC cars. Despite these parts being exposed to temperatures exceeding 250°C and constant impacts, they fully met the extreme demands for strength and thermal resistance. The thermal resistance of 160°C is the temperature at which there are no changes in mechanical parameters and properties. When exposed to higher temperatures, the cured resin gradually experiences what is known as melting, similar to most thermosets. At temperatures above 160°C, gradual shape deformation of the product may occur under load, and at temperatures consistently heated above 250°C, browning and oxidation occur. This system can be supplied upon request in a flame-retardant modification, which significantly increases the resistance to ignition or complete combustion of your product.
