Epoxidová pryskyřice LH 287
The epoxy resin LH 287 is characterized by extremely low viscosity, comparable to
resin 285. When cured with amines or polyamines, it offers high-quality application
properties such as high mechanical properties, good chemical resistance, excellent thermal
properties, etc.
It is a low-viscosity resin based on bisphenol A. Viscosity: 500-900 mPas/25 °C.
At normal storage temperatures, crystallization does not occur. The advantage of the resin and
recommended hardener mixture is its clarity.
Special properties: The resin remains clear even at temperatures of 0 - 10°C, without
cloudiness as seen in some epoxy resins. The resin with the hardener creates a low-viscosity
system before lamination, allowing for good wetting and saturation of the fabric while
simultaneously expelling bubbles from the laminated system, thus improving mechanical
properties.
The working time (so-called pot life) ranges from approximately 15 min. to about 5 hours
depending on the hardener used.
Thermal resistance of the product without significant changes in its parameters:
> + 50-100 °C
Processing: At temperatures between 10 °C and 50 °C, all common processing methods
Approval: none
Usage: Boat building, sports equipment, model aircraft, molds, and tools.
