Clear Epoxy Gelcoat EG 100-T - for thin layers
This epoxy gelcoat can be applied solely by spraying. It can also be applied with a brush. The secret to smooth surfaces. It creates a smooth visible layer depending on the surface of the mold. The surface requires no further treatment after removal from the mold. Suitable for epoxy parts and, after testing, for most polyester and vinylester resins. The surface is created directly in the mold. Financial and effective savings. Pigment pastes for epoxies can be used for coloring. The clear gelcoat can also be brushed on, but it must not be diluted during application - it may damage the separator. For dilution, use a thinner for epoxy spray gelcoat. To cure the gelcoat, use hardener H 100 in a ratio of 100:40 (by weight). Recommended max. thickness of the gelcoat is 0.05-0.2 mm. If the max. coating thickness is exceeded, the gelcoat will be soft and will cure slowly and with difficulty. This gelcoat can be successfully used as a topcoat - a coating to seal the inner layer of laminates and also for water-resistant coatings on wood.
