Epoxy Resin LH 288

Epoxy resin LH 288 is characterized by extremely low viscosity. When curing with amines or polyamines, it offers high-quality application properties such as high mechanical strength, good chemical resistance, excellent thermal properties, etc. It is a low-viscosity resin based on bisphenol A. Viscosity: 500-900 mPas/25 °C. There is no crystallization at normal storage temperatures. A key advantage of the resin and recommended hardener mixture is its clarity. Special properties: The resin remains clear even at temperatures of 0 - 10°C, without clouding as seen in some epoxy resins. The resin with the hardener creates a low-viscosity system before lamination, allowing for good wetting and saturation of the fabric while simultaneously expelling bubbles from the laminated system, thus improving mechanical properties. The working time (so-called pot life) ranges from approximately 15 minutes to about 5 hours depending on the hardener used.
