Hardener H 505
Hardener H 505 is a hardener for epoxy resins. It is suitable for all types of laminations at temperatures above 15°C. Higher thermal resistance of the cured resin can be achieved by post-curing the system at an elevated temperature of 50-60 °C. It belongs to the so-called fast hardeners. Hardener H 505 can be used in applications (the resin and hardener mixture exhibits low viscosity) where a short processing time of 15 to 30 minutes in the cup is required. It can be applied with resins LH 160 100:27 (by weight), LH 260 100:27 (by weight), L 285 100:29 (by weight), LH 130 100:26 (by weight). After curing, a recommended thermal post-curing at a temperature of 40-60°C for 4 to 8 hours is advised. This achieves higher temperature resistance and also better mechanical properties. LH 180 with hardener H 505, ratio 100:27 (by weight), provides a longer processing time.
