Polyester resin HAVELpol 5 is suitable for the production of strength-demanding parts that must withstand greater loads. Note that the resin is not pre-accelerated - A CATALYST AND ACCELERATOR ARE REQUIRED FOR CURING! To cure, add catalyst Peroxide K1 or Butanox M50 in an amount of 1-2% by weight, mix thoroughly. Then add accelerator Cobalt 1% solution in an amount also of 1-2% by weight and mix to ensure it is evenly dispersed in the resin. Warning: do not mix the catalyst and accelerator together, as a violent reaction will occur!! The working time and curing time depend on the working temperature and the amount of catalyst and accelerator added. Generally, the lower the temperature and the amount of added substances, the slower the curing process.
