This is a laminating resin with medium viscosity that does not contain solvents or fillers, intended for processing and curing at room temperature. Suitable for the production of parts reinforced with glass, carbon, and aramid fibers, its features include high static and dynamic strength. The pot life varies from approximately 25 minutes to 5 hours. Even under unfavorable curing conditions, such as low temperature or high relative humidity, non-sticky surfaces with high gloss can be achieved. The viscosities of mixtures with laminating resin LH 160 are very low, which is advantageous for processing at low temperatures or special processing methods, e.g., injection molding, etc. Due to its excellent adhesion properties, these systems can also be used as adhesives for wood, metal, glass, concrete, and various types of plastics. Fillers (e.g., metal powder, dust, cotton flakes, etc.) can be added to achieve special properties of the system. Due to the elongation of 4 - 7%, which is advantageous when used as a laminating resin, the shear strength and peel resistance are somewhat lower than our special adhesive resins. Tip: The ideal hardeners are H 505, processing time 25 min, epoxy:hardener=100:27 and H 146, processing time 50 min, epoxy:hardener=100:30
