Carbon tubes made by pultrusion ensure relatively precise dimensions with small tolerances. They have a smooth surface both outside and inside. Pultrusion is a technology where pre-impregnated carbon or glass fibers are drawn through a heated metal mold and are mechanically pulled out of the mold in the form of an almost fully cured profile. The production is continuous, allowing for the creation of essentially infinitely long profiles. For storage, transport, and handling purposes, the profiles are cut to a specific length. Therefore, it is possible to arrange for a non-standard length for larger quantities. High-quality epoxy resin is used in the production. Since it is cured at a temperature of approximately 120°C, it also has high thermal resistance and achieves high mechanical parameters. Weight: 23g/m.
