Additional information
If vacuum pumps are operated in a location where the air is not dust-free, such as in a workshop where workpieces are simultaneously processed by grinding, it is recommended to equip vacuum pumps with a particle filter (vacuum filter R & G) / Universal filter 390 105-1 / 390 108-1). Otherwise, there is a risk that dust or fine chips accumulate between the diaphragms in the vacuum pump, significantly reducing suction performance. In such cases, the pump must be returned to the manufacturer for repair. New diaphragms often need to be installed.
